VEIN Hat

I just finished my first knitted hat (yay!) - first time using those double pointy needle-things and they weren't as scary as they looked.

I bought this amazing handspun crazy VEIN yarn from the artist Jacey Boggs of Insubordiknit. She is amazing - I have her Sit & Spin DVD too and can highly recommend it.

(The baby blue stripe is just 'normal' commercial wool).

Modelled very stylishly by my daughter (for a small edible bribe).

LOL Grrl - our dog is a tiny min pin and he would have disappeared in it, just before ripping it to shreds!

Pam - I actually found her website a week ago, but her website isn't displaying alot at the moment - and her etsy store is empty. Guessing she must be busy with workshops? Her yarn is also AMAZING. And a closer distance for me to hop over for a spinning class

Thanks Susan!
